How it works...
Step 1 – Contact/Valuation
The first step in the process of consigning with Brand Used Works LLC. Is to contact our auction appraisal representatives. We will conduct an evaluation of your antiques or collectibles and provide you with a pre-auction estimate.

A sales representative will then contact you to set up an appointment time for your evaluation. Items can be brought into our gallery, Or, we may arrange a meeting at your location for large consignments.
Step 2 – Consignment
After your evaluation, We will arrange shipment, delivery or pick-up of your consignment. If you are not able to deliver or ship the items, we will make arrangements to have the items picked up. We will provide details on upcoming sale dates and answer any additional questions you may have regarding consignment.
*A minimum of one months’ lead time is required for all consignments. Please do not drop off or ship your antiques and collectibles without prior approval from a Brand Used Works representative.
Step 3 – Inventory/Insurance/Storage
Once your items are in our possession, they will be fully insured prior to pickup. After receipt of your consigned goods, we will have them tagged and inventoried. This process ensures the proper documentation and tracking of your antiques or collectibles. Prior to the auction, your items will be stored in our secure onsite storage and gallery.
Step 4 – Catalog/Photograph/Print
Our team of experts representing every different category of assets will provide professional descriptions and estimates for your auction consignments. When it comes to highly specialized niche categories, we enlist the services of noted authorities whom we consider to have the best knowledge and reputation within their given field in order to ensure accurate and trustworthy descriptions. Our team of onsite catalogers, designers and photographers will then produce professionally designed online catalogs and all media for showcasing/advertising your consignments.
Through every step of the process from appraisal to the actual auction, we will be dedicated to doing our very best, for you!
Step 5 – Marketing
We will tailor a marketing and advertising plan to assure maximum consumer participation and worldwide exposure for your consignments. Personalized emails are sent to our buyers and collectors. A media campaign will be devised in conjunction with the marketing campaign, targeting popular websites and other influential media outlets. Brand Used Works will also be promoting your consignments through brandusedworks.com, proxibid.com, auctionzip.com, invaluable.com; which features collections from the current sale, sneak peeks of upcoming sales, a full color online catalog, up-to-date market information and multiple bidding options for potential bidders worldwide.
Step 6 – Selling at Auction
Your consignments will be on display for a minimum of a week prior to the sale date. This allows regular customers and potential buyers to preview as they wish in a no pressure atmosphere. While on display prior to auction, your items will be presented in glass display cases, gun racks, and tables, protected by full-time camera surveillance and handled by qualified Brand Used Works representatives. Brand Used Works Auction House is open for advanced previews and is staffed with full-time, knowledgeable experts to assist those wishing to preview.
Bidders can bid on items conveniently from anywhere in the world via their choice of mail, email, telephone, on brandusedworks.com, or real-time internet bidding on multiple platforms.
Generally, our auctioneers sell approximately 70-100 lots an hour.
Step 7 – Consignor Payout
Brand Used Works LLC. prides itself in prompt payment to its consignors and full payment will be made within 21 business days from the date of the sale.
Step 8 - Commission Charges
We have a set schedule for Commission that we will charge you for marketing and selling your assets. We truly believe that we are the best value in the industry, with current fixed rates of 10% for Firearms, and 20% for Ammo & accessories. We can and will conduct other auctions for your assets with proper placement and varying rates depending on marketing plans and assets.
